Journal and notes
Nox gives you two lightweight ways to preserve context.
Notes live on goals, projects, and tasks. Use them for decisions, checklists, constraints, or the context you will need when returning later.
Daily notes live inside the Today view. Use them as a scratchpad for the day—what changed, what matters, or what to remember tomorrow.
The Journal is available from the main menu. Use it for longer reflections that deserve their own dated entry, such as weekly reviews, decisions, or lessons learned.
Keep notes brief enough to stay current. Link to the source document when the full detail belongs elsewhere.
Put constraints on projects, execution details on tasks, and broader lessons in the Journal.
Ask: What worked? Which decision changed the plan? What am I avoiding? What should I repeat?
Daily notes can be messy and temporary. Project notes and journal entries should preserve the parts worth returning to.
