Goals
Goals describe outcomes, not activity. They keep projects and daily work connected to something meaningful.
Create a goal from New → Goal. Give it a clear title, a target date, and optional notes or links. You can also track a measurable result, such as revenue, users, or workouts.
Connect one or more projects to the goal. Nox rolls their work up into the goal so you can see progress without maintaining it twice.
Keep your active list short. A few active goals make priorities clearer; everything else can wait.
Example: “Reach $20k monthly revenue” could connect projects for a new offer, outbound sales, and customer retention.
Goals can be marked Active, Achieved, or Dropped.
Writing a useful goal
A useful goal guides choices and requires several projects. “Grow the business” is vague; “Reach $20k monthly revenue by December” provides a decision horizon.
Open a goal to review connected work. If it no longer supports the outcome, update the plan. Drop a goal when the outcome no longer deserves your time.
